[ spooks ] Code 9
I designed this Facebook application to showcase the start of the new [spooks] code 9 series on BBC3. It gives people a taste of what it takes to be a spy in the brave new world of 2012. Facespook does this by allowing users to take part in their own mini [spooks] code 9 mission.
Once the mission is complete, a unique video is generated for each user, for them to share or embed however they like. To date the site has had in excess of 50,000 visitors and created over 10,000 unique videos.
Consequentially this app became a youtube phenomenon and users uploaded pictures of celebrities as well as themselves. The most popular among those on youtube featured Ali G, Bill Clinton and Bruce Forsyth.
